“ Great tasting food and lots of varieties. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner food items served all day. Stopped by on our way home and ordered a couple items from their menu. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Food was served quick and tasted great. ”

We moved to Merced 2 years ago and we have come here about 2 handful of times and these last couple times we have come we have had Stephanie. She's very attentive, compassionate, and sweet. Add chicken fried steak, 3 eggs, and potatoes........Holy Cow! It was delicious! Our server did a great job, minus warning me what I was getting myself into. My friends had the Corned Beef Hash and potatoes, and also the regular Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. Thank you Black Bear Diner! We will be back with a better expectation of stomach capacity! ”

I was a little sad that it was a little bit of false advertising since the picture had actual berries in the drink, but there was none in my actual cup Oh well haha It was an okay drink! Nothing crazyyyyy special, but it was still good haha The food was pretty good! I got my free meal, which came with pancakes, bacon, and eggs! It was a big portion! We also got the tri-tip meal, which was also pretty big! I feel like the meat was a little disappointing and low quality sadly :( You could probably find other places with better meat. The shrimp was pretty good! The mashed potatoes and fries were good too. The service was super great, so shoutout to the nice Hispanic waitress who is always super sweet! ”
